Adding Servers

Secure ShellFish works with SSH and SFTP servers and supports password, public-key, and two-factor (keyboard-interactive) authentication. For other protocols like FTP, S3 or WebDAV, you'll need other apps.

The Address field accepts multiple hostnames separated by comma. SSH tries each in order — useful when you have a fast local hostname (box.local) and a slower remote fallback (box.example.com). Add a port with :2222.

Advanced options include SSH agent forwarding for chained connections and ProxyJump-style jump hosts for reaching servers behind a bastion.

Servers appear on all your devices when iCloud Keychain is enabled. Configurations are encrypted in iCloud and the only copy of the password lives in the Keychain on your devices.
